KT McCaffreys Paintings
McCaffrey studied at the National College of Art & Design under master tutors:Sean Keating, Fergus O'Ryan, Carey Clarke, Tom Ryan and Maurice MacGonigal. After qualifying from the Art College, he worked in a number of Dublin's leading advertising agencies and graphic design studios. In more recent years he has turned his back on the commercial world and returned to his first love:fine art, specialising in oil painting and watercolours. As someone who is interested in the literary world he has taken it upon himself to produce a series of portraits of some of Irelands best known writers.
